After a hearty breakfast, your driver-guide reports to your hotel for the start of the safari. Depart for a picturesque drive, descending the Great Rift Valley and onwards to Masai Mara, Kenya's famous game reserve. Stop briefly en route at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy the stunning views of the enormous valley system said to be visible from outer space. You'll arrive in Masai Mara in time for lunch.
After lunch, we will have an afternoon game drive which will allow us to spot the magnificent wildlife in the park. The reserve is known for providing excellent predator sightings thanks to its relatively large population of lions, cheetahs and leopards. Bordering Tanzania, the Mara is in the Northern extension of Serengeti and forms a wildlife corridor between the two countries.
